NICK STRIMPLE (B. 1946)—HINEI MAH TOV

How good and pleasant it is that brothers dwell together;
like fine oil running down the beard of Aaron,
like the dew of Hermon that falls upon the hills of Zion.
There, God ordained the blessing of everlasting life.
Psalm 133

He is also a composer whose works The Los Angeles Times praised as “well crafted, appropriate, and powerful.” He has written music for the Vienna International Organ Festival, the J. Paul Getty Museum Summer Series, film and television, and has served as arranger for Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra and other leading artists. He is Lecturer at both the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles Valley College, and Music Director of the Choral Society of Southern California and the Los Angeles Zimriyah Chorale.
